Your first dance as husband & wife – something you’ve always dreamed about. Not all of us may be blessed with the gift of rhythm, but even with two left feet, we can’t wait to have those few minutes to take it all in. Some of us know exactly what song we’ll dance to or have already envisioned the choreography and others scour the internet for ideas.
According to theweddingcommunity.com, these are the Top 10 First Dance Songs of 2015:
“Thinking Out Loud” – Ed Sheeran
“All of Me” – John Legend
“A Thousand Years” – Christina Perri
“Only Love” – Ben Howard
“I Won’t Give Up” – Jason Mraz
“Marry You” – Bruno Mars
“Stay with Me” – Sam Smith
“How Long Will I Love You” – Ellie Goulding
“Baby I’m Yours” – Arctic Monkeys
“Grow Old with Me” – Tom Odell
Did your song make the cut? Of course, we are still seeing first dances to classic love songs, such as “At Last” by Etta James or “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” by Frankie Valli, but a lot of couples are opting for songs that are a little more upbeat. Intricate choreography, that is clearly rehearsed for months prior, has resulted in some pretty fun dances (which we’re sure you’ve seen all over YouTube). Cheers to making your first dance magical!
